Introduction: I have over 30 years of experience, including working in the school system and in private practice. I treat a wide range of communication impairments, including delays in speech and language development, language processing disorders, social thinking difficulties associated with autism, and stuttering, as well as emotional and behavioral challenges. What makes me different than other SLPs is that I am also an expressive arts and play therapist, allowing me to provide a more holistic approach to meeting the needs of your child. If your child needs summer therapy, I have discounted packages available. I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the states of Florida and Maine. I can provide expressive arts and play therapy in Florida or remotely. I can also provide other services related to speech and language, such as tutoring, ESL help with accent reduction and/or language skills, editing/proof reading, and assistance with writing. I will work with adults as well as children.
I have a true passion for helping children. I create a warm atmosphere where kids feel comfortable and where we have lots of fun during therapy sessions! I have many parents happy with my services!

Miss Anita is a wonderful person and outstanding provider of Speech Therapy and very professional.🌇i loved the way she spoke to our little boy about feelings, understanding and relating to both us as parents and our son, who came to her in 2014 and she worked with our son on taking turns, game playing, language, testing and much more. I would highly recommend her and trust in her services in Speech Therapy 100 percent. She is a mom herself and is perfect at relating to kids of all ages with many different situations. Her compassion and understanding and communication skills are unsurpassed and she is relaxed in her environment, putting both the caregivers and children at ease and addressing the core issues and working painstakingly on providing a happy and enriching environment in which to grow and learn with your child. She is able to get down at a child's level and play, invent and structure a plan of action and follow through with each)individual client. She and our son have a special bond. My son Rodrigo has been with Mrs. Anita Flores for over 6 months my son didn't say a word now he can put two or more words together use sign language he's pictures to met he's needs. Thanks to Mrs. Flores her love and dedication to my son and my family is amazing she's so fabulous !! We love her!! You truly have made our life so much easier. We are extremely lucky to have such an amazing speech therapist.....
