After four years with the US Marine Corp, Lance took the knowledge he gained in Technical Training School and applied it towards the homes of his friends and family, and his own. From back yard decks, roofing projects, furniture builds, and even a whole-house remodel, Lance has a broad knowledge of home maintenance, repairs, and improvements- done right! His wonderful customer service partially comes from 14 years with the US Post Office, delivering mail to communities, often striking up friendships with his clients along the way. The other part is just 'cause he's a nice guy. Give us a call and see this great personal service and great knowledge in action for yourself!

    Fence and Gate Installation
    Verified Review
Lance did a great job installing a new custom wood fence for us. It wasn't the easiest of installations with having to work around bushes, trees, and an old brick wall foundation. We are very pleased with the end result and would certainly recommend him.

The job Lance did not only came in under time and under budget, but his experience and expertise made me feel at ease about hiring him and his team for my flooring project. He thought of everything, and went above and beyond to make sure my project looked great! I plan on hiring him again for any and all of my household project needs!

    Door Installation
    Verified Review
We had one exterior and two interior slab doors to install, plus a stair rail repair. Always There's quote was very fair, he arrived on time, and even picked up the doors we had ordered on the way to our home. The doors look great, the stair rail is safe and secure, and Lance even repaired a toilet that was giving us trouble. I can recommend Always there with no reservations. We will definitely call him again!

    Plumbing Drain Repair
    Verified Review
Lance was awesome, he came over the next day and was very professional. He offered me several solutions to my broken dishwasher, and he will also be changing all my locks. I highly recommend Lance and would recommend him to anyone who is unsure the solution to their home problem!

    General Carpentry
    Verified Review
Lance came out on a Saturday to do a consultation on my sinking floors and broken stairs, which was very helpful. He was friendly, professional, and honest. He showed me that my problem wasn't as bad as I had feared, rather than play on my inexperience and tell me I needed unnecessary work. I'm sure he's going to do a great job! Whether I rent the house or live in it, I would go to Lance for all my repairs!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some projects are standard- ceiling fans and light installations are $65 (except for complicated chandeliers or ceiling heights over 12 ft)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get the job done right the first time at the right price, this is why we frequently will need to meet with you about your project to ensure understanding your expectations before accepting a job. This is the only way to get an accurate quote on some projects.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2 years of technical schooling to include construction, masonry, plumbing and electrical. Many years in the building industry custom building windows and doors frames.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at their work and ask for references! It's the law that a contractor carry their insurance/license with them, ask to see it. You are only protecting yourself!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Be aware that there sometimes are unforeseen issues when working in older homes. Often, moisture may have done damage behind walls that won't be discovered until your project is started. It's wise to have a contingency fund and discuss the possibility of these issues with your contractor.
