- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Purchasing a property: -------------------------------- FREE to purchaser! In real estate transactions, the seller pays for the real estate commissions! Selling a property: -------------------------- I list as an agent with Realty ONE Group, which typically charges 6% of the sales price... but for Thumbtack clients, I offer a reduced commission of 5%. Property Management: -------------------------------- Short-term vacation rentals = 15% of gross rents Long-term rentals = 10% of gross rents HOA = depends on size of community (i.e. # of units), age of community, and amenities.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask a lot of questions of my clients. I want to know exactly what my prospective client is looking for. And I will explain all of the services that I provide. Good communication and setting the right expectations for everyone is the key to building a strong long-lasting relationship!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed attorney in Arizona and Illinois and have focused on real estate my entire career, now more than 11 years. I have worked on hundreds of real estate transactions. I have been a licensed real estate agent here in Arizona since October 2016 and was a managing broker in Illinois for three years. I have managed properties for myself and others for over ten years. This includes short-term vacation rentals (think Airbnb), long-term rentals, and Homeowners Associations (HOAs).
