FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am new to this site but not to photography. I will be more than happy to go above and beyond and work within even a tight budget to build positive reviews and get solid referrals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening to what the customer wants is the most critical aspect of successfully rendering a total stranger's vision. Let's sit down and look at a couple images to make sure we are on the same page, don't we say "a picture says a 1000 words" ? Years of experience working events, weddings, shows, commercial photography, boudoir, implied and artistic nude help to quickly ask the questions that will help me understand what YOUR vision is. We are only here to provide a service and make YOUR vision come to life in images. Sometimes people don't know exactly what they want and it is our job to help them describing what they like and do not like to achieve the best possible match, even given a lot of creative freedom. Sitting down and looking at images for reference is always a good starting point, no matter if you already have a very clear vision of what you want or if you wish to bounce ideas back and forth.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born in Paris, my mother was a professional photographer and fashion designer. I was always around photographer since as far as I can remember. Helping her in the "black room" as a kid was the most fun and magical moment, slowly watching images appear on paper. I've used this opportunity worked as 1st assistant, second shooter and sometimes "go get the coffee" as much as I could to get as much hands on experience and absorb as much knowledge from amazing internationally renown photographers from Paris to Sydney. I transitioned to digital and started to shoot my own products as well as friends bands, cars, sports events, weddings, headshots and everything else I could get in front of my camera since then :P
