We have been using the Barbelo Group as our HR Support. Prior to hiring them, we have no HR to help us with employee issues or inform us of our legal obligations as an employer. It was a very stressful time for everybody. Now, we have a HR Manager, Coordinator and Recruiter from the Barbelo Group for less than hiring one internal HR person. They immediately put together our employee handbook, employee files and processes to make sure we are doing things legally when it comes to employment. They handle everything for us. They swiftly address employee issues and help us hire top-notch new employees. They relieved us of so much stress and our managers and employees are happier because of them. I highly recommend them to any business needing quality HR support without breaking the bank. They are so worth it and glad we hired them.

When we first started the company, we never thought business growth and hiring employees could be scarier than not growing at all. Just like any other business owner, we were very hesitant to hire employees due to the cost and liability we have to take on. I didn’t want to spend more money and tried to do hiring and payroll myself, only to find out that there are so many regulations I have to know and tasks I don’t have time to do. Instead of growing our business and getting work off my plate, I ended up stressed and unable to complete anything due to all the hiring mistakes and mandatory regulations we have to comply. The Barbelo Group was highly recommended by several members of the Seattle and SLU Chamber of Commerce. I felt very relieved after our first conversation with their team. These people know their stuff! They knew right away what needed to be done. They are very strategic in their approach, meaning they walk us through the process, gave us options and explained the pros and cons of each of our decisions. One of the best things about the Barbelo Group is that they provide most of the administrative work that needs to be done or they already have a great working relationship with other providers that we don’t need to research and look for other vendors to keep our company going. They do that for us as part of their service. I couldn’t believe how lucky we were that they were the first one we hired. A good example is when we started to grow nationally and globally. They set us up with the right employee policies, health benefits, commuter programs, liability insurance including worker’s comp and life insurance. Since they work with other companies, they also help us not only get new clients but new investors as well. They vetted our board, and most of all guided us through the different stages of our journey. I would not know what to do or where we’ll be without them. The value they bring to any organization is far more than how much they charge. And I can tell you for a fact that they are worth every penny.
