From the minute we met these two, we were impressed by their professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail. Immediately after our initial call, Chris and Margeaux Bajuk, hit the ground running. My husband and I, asked for their expertise in locating a new home for our son, who was a first-time homebuyer. We were so pleased by how they made themselves very available, especially since we were dealing with a short amount of time to find him a new place and it was during the holidays.
There was such a willingness to assist us at every step of the way. Chris and Margeaux took our son to see many places in his budget, all the while educating him on the Seattle real estate market and assuring him that, yes, they were going to find him a home. Knowing about the various neighborhoods, they identified which one would be the right fit for a young person too. In addition, they brought up important points we hadn’t thought of, which is a crucial part of a real estate agent’s job. Like, how well-funded is the HOA?
Chris and Margeaux simplified the process for us and isn’t that how it should be? They consistently kept each one of us updated with emails and texts, so we never felt out of the loop. Questions were answered swiftly and deftly. If they didn’t know an answer, they found out. My husband and I have bought many houses over the years and the level of attention this time was superior to those other experiences. We felt such confidence in them throughout the process.
This skilled team constantly went above and beyond what was necessary or expected. For example, taking a video of a home so we could see it, as we are living in another city. Or, sitting down with our son when he signed all the papers. Or, sending us a photo when dropping off the keys to our son personally, when the home became his, in plenty of time, I might add. From these two we felt genuine excitement for him at closing, as they clearly knew this was a big moment in his life and shared in that celebration.
The place they found him in Ballard is ideal and exceeded our expectations in many ways. This area was our first choice, but with steep home prices in this neighborhood, we weren’t sure this was a realistic goal. But because they kept abreast of what was coming on the market each day, we jumped on this new listing and got it. Now, our son has a great place to call home with everything this neighborhood has to offer nearby and downtown only a short distance away.

We worked with Chris over the past year in both selling our condo and buying our new house and couldn't be happier with our experience. He is incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to share his thoughts and expertise from multiple perspectives allowing us to decide what was best for us. We were buying at a time when the market was very competitive for home buyers - prices escalating well beyond the asking price, buyers waiving inspections with little time to schedule pre-inspections, and houses were not on the market for more than a week. Despite these challenges, he was available on short notice to show us homes and always managed to get a pre-inspection done before the offer deadline. He is professional, patient and genuinely invested in his clients happiness in finding a new home.
