Jamila has been my housekeeper for over 3 years, first when I lived in an apartment and now that I'm in a house. I have been extremely satisfied with her work. Jamila has been awesome for cleaning my house for 2 years where I live with my dog. She not only takes care of the regular house keeping stuff, but also always go beyond to help with anything she finds that need extra care. Sometimes my dog sheds a lot and the hairs are really difficult to get off , she always cleaned the couch to remove all the dog hairs. She is trustworthy and on time and can make appointment based on my schedule. I really enjoy having Jamila to help me with the cleaning and give me a peace of mind whenever I have guests over my place or after a big party.

Jamila was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very professional and friendly, not to mention accommodating -- I had a work meeting that could not be moved, and she was willing to push our cleaning back 2 hours with no problem. My apartment is in Capitol Hill where it's tough to find parking, but she was able to manage and make it over my door early. She brought all her own cleaning supplies and basically told me "sit back and relax, and I'll take care of the rest". I left my place for half an hour to go run some errands and grab some food, and when I got back she had already cleaned most of the place. Very good attention to detail, she made the floors, cracks, the annoying space above the crown moulding, the window sills, light fixtures, every surface of my apartment clean and free of dust. She offered to set my bed linens as well which were in the wash, and although I declined, that's a really helpful service to offer imo. Based on past cleaning experiences, you won't find a better total cleaning than with Jamila, especially for this price. I can tell she takes pride in her work, and as someone who used to spend hours every other weekend scrubbing my place down from top to bottom, I can't appreciate that enough.

Well I did not want to be the first one to give Jamila a terrible review, but here goes. She confirmed the job with me and told me she would call a couple days before the job, (Monday, January 23) to confirm. Having not heard from her by Sunday morning, I sent her a text and then a second. After hearing nothing back, I called her at the phone number we had previously spoken. There was a recording that the number was not taking any calls. So now I sit her on Sunday afternoon with no move out cleaners! I am glad she did a great job for all of you that hired her, but she screwed me royally. Too bad actually, I am a big tipper. I would not recommend Jamila for any job as she is unreliable and did not care about this job.

Jamila cleaned for us twice, and both times were decent. Both times there was some cleaning supply residue left on the counters and some rags left, however they were all little things we decided we could handle. All in all, the cleaning was good and Jamila and her sister were pleasant to be around. We paid her for the two weeks she came, and then for a week in advance due to some confusion. After this, Jamila and her sister never came. I reached out to her via text the day I came home and discovered she had not come but heard nothing. That weekend I called her phone and it said it had been shut off. Jamila recently reached out to me and explained to me the situation that caused the delay in communication. Jamila did not have mal intent, and she apologized for the confusion. I appreciated her actions to make the situation right, and am sure that anyone else who experienced something similar during this time will also hear from Jamila.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
charge $75 for a 2 hour standard cleaning deep cleaning included $5 for 1 to 2 bedroom 1to 2 bathroom cleaning. I charge $85 to 100 dollars for a 3 or more rooms and bathrooms. $20 for each appliance to clean inside refrigerator, inside oven and cabinets of that sort.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just making sure there comfortable with me and I meet there needs so they don't mind referring me to others.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was younger my mother and I would clean older people in our neighborhood that need the assistance. We did it for years. We ended up moving and did it wherever we moved to until I got older and left to live life on my own.
