FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since each photo shoot is unique, I prefer to discuss it with you to give you exactly what you are looking for, which will determine the price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since each photo shoot can be quite different, I usually talk with the person on the phone to discuss exactly what they are using the images for & what style & direction would be best for them. If it is a more complex shoot with backgrounds, wardrobe, or costumes, we often will meet here in my studio first to go over the details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is from the University of Washington where I received a degree in architecture. While there a took a photography class from Christian Staub and I became very excited about the possibilities!. A year later I decided to go to Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles to study photography for three years. I was hired by Albert Watson to be his studio manager right out of school which was a fabulous experience. A year later I decided to open up my own studio in L.A.
