FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I love what I do so I am willing to adjust my base price to fit your budget. Generally my 60 minute session rate is $70-$80. I factor in: Frequency (1, 2, 3x a week) Duration (30, 60, 90 minute sessions) The higher your frequency and duration, the lower the session price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a potential new client I like to meet up for coffee to get to know them a bit more and discuss potential pricing. It can be hard to find a trainer that is the right fit for you so I make that experience as laid back as can be. I also offer all of my new clients an introductory session with me to see how they like my style of training and for me to get an assessment of their current fitness level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. I also received a Fitness and Nutrition option. After graduation I because certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as an Exercise Physiologist. I worked at a Physical Therapy office where I trained elite athletes training for marathons, triathlons, biking, skiing and snowboarding events. Additionally, I helped people of all ages suffering from joint, bone, and/or muscular injuries-- taking them through their rehabilitation exercise program. I worked along side the Physical Therapists and learned a great deal from my time spend there and it is a big influence on my functional training style.
