FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My sessions are $90, and usually run from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always offer a free consultation where we can get to know each other. I explain my services and philosophy, and based on what you tell me about yourself decide the number of sessions that you will need. If we are in agreement and have time, I do a quick induction to let you know what hypnosis feels like and to help me determine the best hypnotic approach for you. (Everyone is a little bit different!) I send a recording home with you for you to practice with until our next session, typically aimed at either stress management or better sleep. Usually I also send homework for you - something that takes about 5 minutes a day. On our following sessions, we chat for a bit and then move into our work. You will receive recordings throughout the sessions aimed specifically at the issue you have come to see me about. My clients leave my office relaxed and rejuvenated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my 200 hours of hypnotherapy training from Aldebaran Hypnotherapy Center, which included courses in Parts Therapy, Pain Management, Esdaille State, Ultra Height, and other specialties. As a member of the International Medical And Dental Hypnotherapy Association, I am required to complete at least 30 hours of advanced training yearly. My advanced training includes courses in: PTSD, Addiction, Pain Management, ADD/ADHD, Eating Disorders, NLP, and Life Between Lives.
