Introduction: CrossFit Felix is downtown Seattle's premier fitness facility. Our members and guest push, pull, jump, squat, lift, climb and swing their way to success in a safe, fun and fit environment. The only thing you need to "do CrossFit' is the willingness to give it a try. We have Private Beginner Courses to get you ready and tailored programming and personal training to keep you going. Our gym is over 5000 square feet with enough equipment to get and keep an army of 300 fit. Barbells, bumper plates, kettlebells, ab mats, pull-up bars, yoga mats, plyometric boxes, gymnastic rings, dumbbells, squat rack, etc. You name it, we have it. And even better, we use it. Constantly Varied is the name of our game and Functional Fitness is our claim to fame. Clean and well equipped facility. Form, repetition and then intensity. Great people, great workouts and safe training. That's CrossFit Felix. The best part of the work I do is meeting new people who want to improve themselves through fitness. It takes patience and dedication and those who are will to sacrifice their time and sweat to make that happen make all the difference. Everyone has their own goals and bringing them that success is incredibly fulfilling.

Jonathan is a knowledgeable personal trainer, and his fitness intelligence has come out in the well thought out, personalized strength training program he has designed for me. I came to Jonathan knowing I wanted to do a lifting program, but not knowing much more than that. After testing one rep maxes with me and giving me helpful technique advice that I use everyday, Jonathan began writing a program broken into 4-week mesocycles. The warmups clearly feed into that day's lift, and the accessory movements compliment the lift and have improved my strength and coordination. I appreciate Jonathan's encouraging attitude, knowledge, and willingness to answer lots of questions either via email or when I see him at CrossFit Felix. As a result of his coaching and programming, I am lifting heavier, feeling stronger, and finding more motivation to get into the gym regularly and hit my goals.

Running a Crossfit gym is more than just opening your doors and offering WODs. Izzy has created an awesome Crossfit culture, with a supportive and friendly community, committed coaches, and a whole lot of heart. Jonathan is a great addition to the team, and all the coaches are supportive and awesome.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Rates are very simple and the sessions don't expire. There is a 50% refund after 3 completed sessions if you are not satisfied. 1-on-1 $80/ 1 session $70/ 10+ sessions $65/ 15+ sessions $60/ 20+ sessions Doubles are additional $20 per session Programming only: 2-3 days/week $125 per month 4-5 days/week $150 per month 6-7 days/week $200 per month

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Our first initial session will be an general movement/injury assessment and a discussion of some specific goals, followed by a competency test in whatever 10 general physical skills they would like to improve to create a baseline for a tailored program. They are: Cardiovascular/Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance and Accuracy. Every session includes a dynamic warm-up/mobility geared towards priming the general movement patterns of the day, optimizing range of motion and stability. Depending on what physical skills need work on determines what follows and every session finishes with a cool-down of stretching and targeted mobility.
