Introduction: I am now taking my compassion, knowledge, & years of teaching experience to the convenience, and comfort of your location. I have a sincere passion for making students feel comfortable and at ease in class, in any level of fitness, age or size. This goes for teaching both Private Yoga- 1 on 1 as well as group classes and small group classes. Private classes will be more specific, or we can call it "specialized" to your needs, goals, and even more. When teaching group classes, I have the ability to adapt my instruction to those with little or no experience by offering the same poses, but toned down to a more gentle, softer option. In the same class, I can give the more experienced students the complete yoga pose, or even spice it up a bit so they can get the challenge they desire. What I still find today to be the richest and most rewarding gift as a teacher of both yoga and meditation, is when newer students tell me how their lives begin to take on several positive changes. The changes vary between individuals, but most commonly, is students begin to feel "uplifted" just generally more happier, Stress decreases, sleep gets better, more energy throughout the day, and the list goes on. There are different benefits to every single yoga pose. That is why my new project and business name is Beneficial Yoga. I look forward to meeting you and creating a class, private or series to where you WILL experience that wonderful magic. That gift is Yoga, and it is here and available to anyone and everyone.

Diane was a wonderful private yoga instructor! She is very knowledgeable and her years of experience definitely show. She is also very nurturing and compassionate and helped me overcome my fear of yoga and vulnerability. I really wanted to improve my mobility and help decrease my lower back pain that I developed through powerlifting. After several sessions with Diane I both physically and mentally felt better. She helped me improve my mobility, increase my flexibility, and significantly reduce my lower back pain. I highly recommend Diane! She is also flexible and helped accommodate my inconsistent schedule. In addition, she came to my house which was very convenient. If you are looking for someone to come to your home and help you with your yoga practice she is a wonderful option!

I recently got back in touch with Diane after 7 years! I was a regular student at her yoga studio in the Ballard/Phinney Ridge neighborhood. Now, I am enjoying the luxury of having her come to my home where I get a personal, Private Yoga session, where she also uses Aromatherapy and Reiki at the end of class. But since this past summer, I did get the word out in my neighborhood that Diane is back, we have had up to 3 students that were regular attendees at her former studio! As a compassionate, warm, and highly experienced instructor, her energy is amazing and a gift in itself. She is very knowledgeable about the bodily systems and organs, which poses to stimulate certain organs or calm and nurture organs that are in need. If you are brand new to yoga, young or elderly, OR if you have limitations and are intimidated to try yoga, Diane Anderson will be an outstanding instructor for you! Jan Hagen

Diane. I was completely inexperienced, well into middle age, and living a rather sedentary life. Due to these circumstances I was uncomfortable even taking a beginner class at a studio or gym. Still very interested in Yoga, I was on line and found myself somewhere that offered Private Yoga instruction. . I read some profiles, and when I got to Diane’s, I saw many qualities that right away made me feel comfortable, so I reached out to her. Before our first session, we communicated by email and phone calls, then she emailed me a complete intake not just of my body’s health but she gave me examples of what she offered. With that information she designed an amazing 4 Week Introductory Yoga Series, which was personalized just for me. Not only does she have incredible knowledge but it was her warmth, compassion, and openness that has kept me taking yoga with her.
