FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For most work I charge $45 per hour for labor. Mowing is a minimum of $40 for the first 5,000 sf. After that, it is an additional $5 for each 10,000 sf. Mulching is $98 per cubic yard and top soil $110 per cubic yard these prices include installation. Plus, $45 for delivery. If there is debris to haul off from a cleanup, the fee is anywhere from $25 to $100 depending on the load. There is no charge for any debris that might be collected from mowing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the terms of my services have been agreed upon, I will contact you to schedule a time to do the work. If this is a one-time assignment, payment will be due upon completion of the work. If I will be supplying any materials, a 50% down payment will be expected before the work is started. If work will be ongoing, we typically bill on a monthly basis, however if you would rather set up something else, I am open to that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have approximately 10 prior years of experience working in the landscaping field. I have planted trees, shrubs, sod, and flowers and have mowed more lawns than I could possibly count. I do leaf removal and property clean up as well. I have experience in building rock retaining walls; landscape beds, with natural edging or with bricks, timbers, etc.; and repairing patios. I also trim and remove trees and bushes. I clean gutters, power wash decks and houses, install underground gutter downspouts, do painting and other odd jobs, just ask.
