FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is between $60-75 hour. I generally offer a reduced fee (30-50% off) my normal rates for non profit organizations. I will work for a fixed budget fee once mutually agreed upon between client and myself. I am willing to adjust my rates if additional projects are added and a good working relationship has been established.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Best case would be to meet face to face, however if not possible the next best option is a phone call. I would introduce myself, answer any questions the client may have on my experience and background, then proceed to discuss the project at hand. Talk about goals, vision, timelines and budget. I have worked with many clients that I have never met, but through the beauty of technology (emails & texts) we can accomplish the goals of the project. PDF proofs make it easy to send my work to the client for review and adjustments are made as needed. Final print ready material will be provided.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA degree in Fine Arts/Marketing. Have over 30 years experience in the design/advertising industry. Have worked with the LA Times for several years. Two advertising agencies in the midwest and a direct marketing firm in California.
