I had a small dinner party for my birthday this past May. I hired Alice to make a southern style meal for me and five other friends. The whole experience I found to be exceptional, she was easy to communicate with and also catered to the one person who had an allergy to shellfish. The appetizer with frisée had the best citrus dressing I ever had in my life and was a perfect opener to my favorite, creamy shrimp and grits. I was also surprised to know that most of her training is actually in pastry, especially after such a delicious savory meal she made! For dessert we had a nice light Keylime pie that was just to die for and a perfect light fresh ending to a nice hearty southern meal. I'll be using her for future birthday parties most definitely!!

Alice did an event for me recently and it was spectacular. I didn't know the quality of chefs you could find on this app, however Alice was super professional and classically trained and all my my guests were very impressed! I highly recommend her for any occasion and I plan on using her again soon!

Chef Pedersen was available for a summer party I held at my home. I gave her about a weeks notice and asked if she could provide food for my party of about 12. I gave her ideas of the vibe and feel I wanted with a budget and she took it from there. She did not need any additional direction which left me at ease to tend to the other aspects of my get together. Alice prepared some wonderfully light and delicious plates. She wowed us with chicken breast with pesto and panzanella salad, which is a favorite of mine. We also dined on halibut with shrimp and pasta. Since we were drinking wine all day, I opted for no desert but Alice did live in Italy and has many years of pastry under her belt so don't hesitate to ask her to make you something g sweet! She's efficient, cleans up after herself and will slip in and out of your kitchen without you even knowing.
