FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically don't do a lot of discounts unless you're a senior citizen. I do everything in my power to deliver the most quality workmanship possible. And make sure that the customer gets their moneys worth when they hire me. I was always taught to take care of your elders so when it comes to senior citizens I do give a 10% discount. Although there is a 3% surcharge on payments excepted by credit card, that is only if the purchase exceed $1000. Anything under $1000 is exempt from the 3% surcharge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer is looking for a new door I would typically set up an appointment to come out and have a look at their specific situation. At that point we can have a look at different door styles that would best fit your home. Besides physically installing your new garage door I am also there to answer any questions and provide any guidance that you may need.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in high school my uncle was just starting up his garage door business working out of the Southbay. I was his very first employee at 16 years old. I started working after school and during the summer and as soon as I graduated high school I went full-time. 15 years later I started my own business and am loving it.
