I am very impressed with the fine work and advice provided by Ted regarding my landscaping needs. He did an excellent job of making my front and back yards and the side of my house look great. He got rid of lots of weeds and other landscape problems I inherited from the previous owner. I plan to have him continue to improve and maintain my yard and outside environment in the future.Sep 19, 2018Verified

Give actual estimates prior to cutting the lawn. (Not on the spot) The cut was below average to average and grew back in less than two days making it harder for me after paying 100 bucks cash...Jun 6, 2018VerifiedTed E.'s reply
With all due respect, the lawn had not been cut at all that year and was very overgrown. Quote originally given was for a standard 1/4 acre lot. Customer stated in request that property was 1,000-5,000 sq ft when in reality it was 1.25 acres or 54.500 sq ft hence the change in cost. Customer was given the option to pass and accepted the terms. Property was cut trimmed, and all walkways were clear upon completion, inspection and payment made.
Ted has been fantastic-replies promptly to our requests and does a good job with our large lawn. Highly recommend!May 27, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try to quote out jobs at a fair price based on the customers needs and the requirements of their specific properties attributes. I calculate the quality materials required at cost and then apply my labor rate to come up with an agreeable fee for completing the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I try to get as much information as possible up front so that I can understand your situation, set up a time frame to get the job completed and discuss payment expectations upon delivery.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I did quite a few years (10) of this work for a landscaping business in my past before deciding that I truly enjoy helping customers out with their needs and starting my own business.
