- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with either a situation analysis or strategic design. Who is your audience? What do you want them to do after reading? What format can we best reach them through? From there, I'll produce a draft that I think will meet your expectations. You'll be able to look at it and tell me what you like/don't like/want more of before I submit a revised draft.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over five years of experience writing, editing and conceptualizing materials for clients across the globe, including UNICEF, Save the Children, and several African businesses that I would namedrop if only they were known stateside.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started writing/editing on the side while working as an English teacher at a university in Sudan. (You haven't lived until you've tried to explain "Waiting for Godot" to Sudanese university students.)
