Introduction: I do quality work with top of the line materials for half the price of the average contractor. If you want to know how the answer is simple I do all the work my self with a helper verses your average contractor who just sales the job and subcontracts it out to the lowest bidder and pockets your hard earned money regardless of quality and the type of material. The main thing I love about my work is being able to help people. Especially the people just like me who work hard for what they have and are in need but might not have a whole bunch of money but are in the situation where they don't have a choice but to get something done before things get worse. or they might be in a situation where things have gotten worse and the average roofing contractor is going to triple the price because he's going to amp up and make the situation seem like it requires so much more to fix. or you have a roofing contractor who never gets his hands dirty just selling jobs subcontracting work to the lowest bidder not caring about you or the quality of work being done. most of those guys will tell you oh metal is twice as expensive and that is a lie. I can do a metal roof for half the price of shingles and it will not only last ten times as longer but the warranty on the material is twice that of shingles. The reason why they tell you this lie and that it's broad casted in the construction industry as more expensive is because they simply can't find cheap subcontractors to install it and they simply can't find someone who knows how to install it and install it correctly shingles and metal roofing are two different trades completely and to get a quality job experience in each area separately is the key. Sure anyone can figure out how to get it up there and maybe even make it look decent but that doesn't mean it's right. Question is what are you really getting? Why would you pay twice the amount for a roof and get half of the quality because of a business name or anything else it just doesn't make sense.
