Introduction: I am passionate about photography and have more than a decade of experience shooting events, portraits, architecture and nature. I use high end equipment (Nikon d7200 and Nikon d600 along with multiple lenses). My love for photography began when I first clicked the shutter on my Dad's old Yashika! My initial experiences began with film and a darktoom. I shot for my high school yearbook! I love the creative freedom of photography and the limitless perspectives the art offers. I truly appreciate spending time with new clients to learn about their personalities, interests and unique styles, so I am able to customize the experience, to achieve their desired results.

I first used Kimberley's photography services for our family Christmas card about two years ago. At the time Kimberley came highly recommended to me by a friend. I have never been into pictures myself, but Kimberley had a way of making my two children husband and I very comfortable. We ended up having a great time during our photo shoot and ended up with really fun candid shots for our Christmas card! She has since been our go to photographer for any of our special family events! I am an event planner and designer and have also since recommended Kimberley to any clients that were in need of a photographer for their event. Everyone has loved working with her and the photos she provides them with! Kimberley has a true passion for photography and a special talent for making her clients feel comfortable! I highly recommend her!

We just couldn’t be happier with Kimberley! I hired her for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. She is fun, professional and great with kids. She arrived early, got her camera setup and got clicking! She is very friendly with children and that brings out natural smiles in them, which she captured perfectly thought the party. She even took kids action shots inside the bouncy house! Simply amazing :) We got some great candid shots of the guests. Kimberley was on her toes throughout the party and captured every single detail - from party decorations to table arrangements and food menus. She also got back to us with the pictures promptly after the party (2 days). Every single photograph came out beautiful and our friends and family couldn’t say enough! We have worked with different photographers in the bay area before and she is by far our favorite. Thank you, Kimberly for the beautiful pictures and I am looking forward to working with you at our next special occasion. Highly recommend her to everyone!

Professional Portrait - I'm a corporate executive and needed an updated portrait photograph. I consulted with Kimberley to provide this service. As soon as I began working with Kimberley I came to greatly appreciate her skills. Kimberley's contributions not only involved photography, which she is gifted at, but also included tips on how to prepare for the shoot so I would project well in the pictures. She was attentive, detail oriented, and knew the best methods to take the photographs (angle, lighting, posing) to produce the best results. She is a remarkable photographer, a very professional person and will work hard to produce great results.

We could not be more thrilled with the photos that Kimberly took of our two kids! The overall experience was great ,relaxed and not at all rushed..best of all is that after the photo shoot ,my 8 year old said "Mom, that was so much fun and she is so nice!". She let the kids come up with natural poses on their own, and the pictures really captured the different personalities of my son and daughter .. Can't wait to have her photograph more of our family in the near future. Highly recommend!

Best experience by far!! Kimberly was wonderful, she definitely knew how to connect with my three year old daughter, so she was at ease during the photo session and was able to capture her true personality through candid photography. I would say there is no improvement needed as I was COMPLETELY satisfied.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on my new client's wishes, we either have an in person meeting or a telephone conversation, so I can learn more about their specific interests, such as creative approach, location, anticipated expectations and any particular ideas they may have. I especially enjoy getting a sense of their personalities, as it is wonderful when a personality shines in a photo!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken a few courses in photography at Foothill College and San Jose Camera. I also belong to a couple of photograpy meet-up groups.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I photographed many events for family and friends over the years and so many of them recognized my passion for photography and ability to engage quickly with others. That said, I was encouraged to start a professional business and I am so glad I did! My love for photography is so intense ... it doesn't feel like work at all :-)
