Great experience throughout. First, Leo went out of his way to fit my bid into his (my) schedule. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and frank. He helped me select the appropriate roof system for my neighborhood. The Ampro bid was the best of three by far. Knowing I wanted to complete the job very soon, my job was worked into the schedule within a week. Great team came out and got the job done right in one day. They took care with my property, and cleaned up carefully. They even accommodated a neighbor who came by to ask if she could have some scraps for her chicken coop, which was just plain nice of them. I had one question about the installation, texted Leo, and he got back to me very shortly, spoke to the crew lead, and took care of it to my complete satisfaction. GREAT communication, workmanship, and customer service.

I scheduled a bid with Ampro at 1:00 PM in Auburn and when they had not showed up at 1:15 I called just to confirm that I had the time right.
I did not get through to anyone, so left a message and got a call back in a few minutes telling me he was running behind schedule and could not be there for another hour.
I have no problem with someone running behind schedule, it happens to all of us and could actually be a good sign (that they are busy), but I have a hard time understanding why they wouldn't let the customer know they were gonna be late.
So, I marked it down as just a couple of wasted hours and decided to look elsewhere for our roofer.

We are always sorry that a customer is disappointed. During the Harsh cold weather that we all endured, schedules were difficult to keep precisely. We have never had so many repair calls. You indicated that you did not yet own the home and that you were having other Roofing Contractors view and bid the roofing replacement job. We are a rare Company agreeing to inspect a home not owned by the calling party. You also indicated flexibility in your appointment time as you did not yet own the home. We routinely receive five stars when we do perform service. We offer our sincere apology for any inconvenience that we might have caused you. We do understand how valuable your time is.
