FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am by far, one of the most reasonable professionals out there. I will offer my services at the barest minimum allowable by standards set by competitors and would like to receive a nominal fee for those services. I am able to meet or beat most qualifying professionals for the simple reason that I don't owe the banks anything due to my conservative lifestyle and resourceful attributes. I will, by no means become rich in this field I chose, but do enjoy the freedom of independence and ability to express myself artistically through the creative craftsmanship I engage and am grateful for the opportunities afforded me by great customers that have the same values and vision as I do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the customer to go over the job specifications, after evaluating the details of the project at hand. I give them a quote. If they agree, I ask for a deposit to cover the cost of materials and operational expenses, usually 1/3 - 1/2, depending on the cost of materials "no materials no deposit required ! " I give them a when and meanwhile deliver materials. I then collect the remaining balance upon completion of the job. I sometimes take pictures afterward and ask for a review. I thank them, converse a little while, then move-on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked at a green-house nursery in my early teens, but after that I worked for many top notch landscape companies that specialized in hardscaping. I paid special attention to all aspects of the field. In hind site I taught myself, but like anything else in life, it takes practice to gain experience. I love what I do and am really good at it.
