Introduction: Lush Studio's beginnings go all the way back to the year 2003 when our owner & lead photographer Annie discovered her passion for photography. Annie has always been an artist of sorts and took several photography courses throughout her high school career. It wasn't , however, until she began her college career at the University of Texas Austin, that she realized that photography was what she wanted and would do with her life. Annie states that, "photography is the only thing that has ever made me feel like my true and most genuine self". While in college Annie ventured down the path of cosmetology on the side and discovered another talent and love, Hair & Makeup. While in school Annie worked as a makeup artist for MAC cosmetics. Annie graduated with a degree in photojournalism in 2007. Over the past 10 years , since graduating college, Annie has been entirely immersed in the world of photography, working for several of Austin Texas's top wedding photographers. While shooting weddings Annie often had brides approach her in regards to taking intimate and tasteful images for their soon to be husbands. Annie quickly fell in love with boudoir photography and decided that was the area of photography she was born to be in. Soon thereafter, annie partnered with a business manager, a second photographer and a full time hair & makeup artist, all of which have made Lush Studio what it is and will be in the future! At Lush Studio creativity drives our passion for what we do. We are all artists, and what is photography if not art? We are so excited to start this new business venture and expand our brand in beautiful and sunny Tampa, Florida! We cannot wait to meet all of our new Lush Divas!
