FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike most, I do not. I work WITH you and your budget. Tell me what you're comfortable spending, and I will design a package around your exact needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When contacted by a new customer, the first and most important thing is to assure they are comfortable and relaxed around me. Its understandable that people can be nervous when talking to someone new or looking for photography that covers a major event. From there, I immediately establish exactly what they are looking for. It's critical to completely understand the client's vision and goals related to their shoot in question. After forming this professional relationship and obtaining their event and style information, I begin to work with them on price. Everything is budget-based, so I can ensure a stress-free and fun process from beginning to end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for Architecture & Design at one of the most elite design schools in the country. I transferred out of my major only to wind up coming back a few years later. In school, we learned about form and function and how that directly related to design and aesthetics. These same principles can be applied to the photographic process. I currently work for an Architecture company as an Interior Designer so I fully understand the design and art realm. I also photograph our projects for the company's portfolio - what we show our potential clients.
