- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $150 per hour for couples counseling using the Gottman Method. I do not take insurance for couples counseling. I will accept insurance for individual psychotherapy work and I’m contracted by most insurance companies.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I request each client fill out my contact form on the website.I always return calls that same day. We will discuss the issue on the phone and then decide if we will meet for an initial intake which usually takes an hour to an hour and a half. After the initial intake session, we will decide collaboratively how often to meet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Post Modern Therapy from The Phillips Graduate Institute. I have completed the mandatory 3000 hours of clinical work as a therapist intern. Then 2 state exams must be passed before we become licensed in the State of CA.
