Introduction: Hi, I have been baking ever since I could stand on a stool in my Grandmother's kitchen, but it wasn't until a few years ago that a friend requested a special designed Wedding Shower cake for her daughter and it was a big hit. This was the start for me to live my lifelong dream and turn a favorite hobby into a business. Family and friends encouraged me to become a professional baker and finally live my dream. With more than 40 years of baking experience and am a California native, born and raised in the South Bay, I am proud to bake and create beautiful cakes and treats for locals. I absolutely love creating tasty flavors, fun, designs, and crazy custom made cakes for birthday parties, baby showers, wedding receptions and special occasions. If you can Dream it, I can create it! I've ordered 3 cakes from here already, it's time for a review! Each cake was a different flavor but all 3 were beyond delicious! They were decorated EXACTLY how I requested, and everyone at all 3 parties I've taken them to have complimented and asked where I got such a beautiful and delicious cake! I highly recommend trying out BCDC to see for yourself, these are the only cakes I'll get from now on, maybe next time I'll try the cupcakes! The delivery service offered was also right on time, and everything was transported with extra care and I was greeted with professionalism and a big smile. 10/10.

Couldn't ask for better service it was delivered before the expected time. I ordered for my birthday, a yellow three layer cake w/chocolate filling, enrobed in a yellow fondant. Perfectly decorated with purple and yellow flowers. It was fresh,, very moist and delicious. I will definitely give references if asked. It was picture perfect!

We were dying for a chocolate fix! Being chocoholics we called up Beach Cities Dream Cakes and ordered this beautiful chocolate cake. It was delivered right away. And it was beyond delicious. It was just what we needed!

I was lucky enough to win a cake and I requested a cake for around Valentines Day! Both my husband and I are not big cake eaters so I had her make it because I knew my grandson would be able to share it with us! Well what a cake we received- it was so cute with M &M's flowing like lava down the side and it was a vanilla cake with salted caramel filling! Yummmm- thank you so much!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing is by the number of guests to serve. Generally a simple buttercream design range from $2.50-$4.00 per person depending on the decoration or design elements and of course the size of the Cake, delivery miles and setup usually run about $20-$25, however it's worth every penny if your design is big and bold or you are concerned about transporting it safely.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get design ideas from customers no matter how wild or crazy they think their design idea is, I can do it.!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
40+ years baking and recipes over 100 years old that I tweak and adjust for a modern taste and flair with that old fashioned Grandma's homemade feeling.
