- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy having an open communication. I try to explain everything I can via messages or email, and always offer to meet before the sitting. It gives us a chance to sit down with no pressure, and have a face to face conversation about images they are going for. It is what makes me do the best job I can. On the spot, you may not be able to think of images you'd like, but over coffee, we can bounce ideas and plan for the perfect session on each end!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied art and photography at Wayne State University in Detroit.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 16, I worked all summer to buy a camera. My high school didn't have any classes to study photography so I took an independent study with the band to capture their season! It truly inspired my life to be revolved around capturing the candid.
