FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. I price by the pane and height from the ground. Each framed piece of glass has to be cleaned separately, so that is how I count them. For instance, a sliding glass door is counted as two panes, one that slides, one that doesn't. For single level homes (not requiring the use of an extension ladder) the charge is $4/pane for in/out cleaning. For Two story homes (or homes requiring the use of an extension ladder) the charge is $5/pane for in/out. For French windows, the charge is $1.50/pane in/out. With tracks, I vacuum them, wash them out, and lubricate them and the charge for that is $5/set. For screens, I remove them, clean them with solution thoroughly, dry them and put them back. For this I charge $2/screen. I also offer water stain removal and construction/new paint cleaning quoted on a case by case basis. Mirrors and glass table tops are also something I frequently clean for customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by scheduling a time that is good for them to do a free, no obligation estimate and evaluation. During this time I present them with all the options I can provide them and their respective prices. Once agreed to, I begin the work according to their specific needs and request. Once the work is complete, I do a walk-thru with the customer to ensure their satisfaction. Following the appointment, I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and 48 hour rain guarantee. I also keep my customer's up to date on my current specials and promotions as the year continues so they never lose my information.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been cleaning residential and commercial windows since 2002. I've worked under and collaborated with some of the other leading Owner/Operators in the Reno/Tahoe area during that time. I've also started, built, grown, and successfully sold one of Reno's most successful window cleaning companies. During that time, I developed the most effective systems for cleaning high end residential glass and I successfully trained dozens of technicians to implement them perfectly.
