FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a rate for logos, brochures, and business cards that includes up to a specifed amount of time for revisions. If the client exceeds the allotted time for revsions then the client will be charrged an additional hourly rate. The clent is notified when they are nearing thier limit. Some work such as illutrations are based on an hourly rate and an estimate is provided.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I access the needs of the client. What does the client need to have us design? What is the purpose of the graphic piece we are designing? We then provide work order and quote. We review the agreement with the client. The next step is obtaining an in-depth understanding of the company. Who is their target audience? What message does the client want to convey? We research their website, the competition, and social media. We also ask for any samples of advertising and/or printed materials. What does the client envision for the project? What they like and what they don't like. We want to ensure the product we are creating has the same branding and messaging as there other media. That the final product will speak to their prospective client or current client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in Art. I had further training in graphic design through my positions at the University of Arizona in Adobe Software, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
