FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are dependent on the cost of materials, labor hours, and in some cases jobs are priced by piecework.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting with a new customer begins with an on site visit to hear the vision for the project. Measurements and notes are taken that will be used to create a 3-D layout of the space. Customers are also shown door samples at that time. A layout with images from various views is created, sent to the customer, and edited until it meets the customer's satisfaction. An estimate is then made based on the drawings. When the customer chooses to proceed, both parties sign the contract, a deposit is paid, and the job typically is completed between two to six weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received two years of intensive training in all aspects of building trades. Additionally, my education includes classes in construction management, blueprint reading, drafting and design.
