Insisted on mowing while in pouring down rain in spite of my protests. We asked for mowing and weedeating only. Talked a good talk by convincing us to weekly service at a cheaper fee while we explained we couldn't really afford it. Again,I tried to deter him from mowing in the heavy rain. Assured us he had no problem doing a great job at the agreed rate in spite of the conditions. Shortly after starting push mowing the back yard, he returned to say he had to charge $10 more a week. We said ok, but we could only do twice a month. Nearly an hour later he came to the door for payment. The next day, when the rain stopped, we saw he had weedeated, but no where even close -4 to 5 inches from the house! Left a 3x2 foot stretch of high grass in front of my house! Several other high spots in the back too. If he could perform as well as he talked himself up.... Can't believe we actually paid for such a poor job.

Sean is an extremely poor business man! I hired him to install a fence to separate my pool from the rest of my yard. I have 2 young children and needed to security of a fence. Sean quoted me a reasonable price and promised to have it installed as soon as the fence came in. He also promised to keep me updated on the status of everything. Since he told me he was a former police officer, I trusted him when he asked for up front payment (my mistake!). I was the one having to ask for updates. He kept telling me he was waiting on parts, never telling me when/if they came in. He had a million reasons/excuses as to why the job hadn't been completed after 6 weeks of waiting. SIX WEEKS! He told me he would be here Friday to do the fence. Thursday afternoon I ask when he would be at my house. No response. Friday, I text him seeing if he was still coming. He said he would be there in a few hours (which would have been around noon). I call him around 3:00 since I hadn't heard from him and leave a voicemail. He texts me with an excuse but said he would come over when he was finished with what he was doing. Never showed. Never contacted me. The next day (Saturday) tells me that he will do my fence on MONDAY! I was so over pushing back the deadline that I told him I just wanted my money back. My husband took over communication at this point. He told my husband he would bring us a cashiers check on Monday when his bank opened. Here I am on Monday night at 9pm and he still has my money. And now he's telling us he will write 2 personal checks and we need to wait to deposit the big one until he can return the fence he already paid for (with our money).
He is not a trustworthy man and should not be running his own business! He has extremely poor communication skills and is now making us chase him for our $750! It is June 12th, and he invoiced me on APRIL 28th! DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN FOR ANYTHING! I have learned my lesson to NEVER pay upfront for a service ever again!

Great job! Reasonable price. Very professional and polite! Honest and trustworthy! Hired for remainder of the season. Definitely recommend him. --- Update: After the first few mowings, the quality went down. I had to start raking my yard because of all the clippings, he stopped edging, and in several places the grass looked like it had been mowed by two different mowers of different height. While he is a very nice guy, his quality of work is not acceptable. Last week he never showed up. I called and left messages and no return call or messages. I had to hire a different company. This all happened when I had an Open House which meant that my lawn looked horrible. I'm sorry to state that I would not recommend him now.
