Hired on Thumbtack

Very friendly, Professional acting, I was given a figure for labor and materials. I was told I would be provided receipts on materials, (that the overall price might go up or down depending on how much was used) I was told the project was a 3 day job. I asked repeatedly throughout the 9 days for the material receipts (yes 9 days) and was promised on final day he'd drop them off the very next day... (conveniently forgotten in other work truck??) now, 7 days after project completion,(16 overall days) job was paid in full a week ago, he has yet to deliver materials receipt) lesson learned on my behalf.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I have found it best to get in touch with the homeowner. This allows me to get to know not only the homeowner but get a good feel for what the homeowner wants. This way I am sure that the end result is exactly what you pictured when you decide to go ahead with the project.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been to college for Architecture and Drafting and Design.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't simply hire the provider with the lowest price. As the saying goes, (You get what you pay for.) Make sure you take the time to know a few things about the project and what you want.
