We provide maid service and janitorial service. We have recently opened an additional office in Tuscaloosa County to better serve our customers on the East side.

My start with Maids In America was auspicious. They had to re-schedule me because of an illness of one of their people and the date they said they could do it on was later then I wanted. Well... I moved on and brought in another cleaning company which was able to make it on the date I wanted. The other cleaning company was friendly and prompt enough but refused to wait an extra 5 minutes while my wife walked the house. They said that they were limited by time because of how low the price was?! They charged my card $279 for 3 bedroom 2 bath average condition - no pets and the maids were only at our house 3 hours! I think they would of made a profit spending 5 minutes more walking my wife??!!!
Well, $279 later I wound up calling Maids In America because the house wasn't done right - kitchen floors sticky, hardwood had a film on it, and they had streaked up a bunch of windows - skipped blinds, missed ceiling fans, etc. Maids In America was past their personnel crisis and had two people over immediately. They walked my wife who was very very happy and charged a lot less for great work. I think in the future I will plan ahead more because I would rather use the right cleaners then rush in a cleaning company that doesn't care about our house and satisfaction.
I talked to the owner, Susan, about why they can be difficult to get scheduled in a short order and she said that they have a policy of keeping less personnel busier then spreading it around a bunch of part time people. She said the full time people are more reliable (although illness does happen) and committed to doing a good job since it's their livelihood.
