TLDR:
I cannot say enough positive things about Clearwater Construction as a company or about every single member of the team assigned to my recent bathroom remodel. From the quality of work to customer relations these guys exceeded every expectation.
The whole story:
My grandfather, the most import person in my life, recently underwent extensive surgery for various cancers. After flying home to visit him following one such surgery, it became glaringly obvious that his small carpeted 1930’s bathroom with its decrepit 3x3 shower and ancient round toilet had become too difficult for him to maneuver.
Having set aside a little money, I decided I would put out a request on a number of construction servicing sites to have his whole bathroom remodeled. I received several responses straight away, the most promising of which came from Thumbtack. Living a few states away I didn’t have the luxury of vetting the potential contractors in person, but of all the responses I received the one from Brent at Clearwater stood most prominent. His initial emails were prompt and throughout and he offered to be out at my grandpa’s house the next day to do a free estimate.
After spending several hours measuring and go over the prospective remodel with my grandpa, Brent shot me an itemized quote taking large considerations for my modest budget and my grandfather’s health and safety needs. Upon reviewing the extensive quote and getting the “character check” thumbs up from my grandpa, I made the easy choice to go with Clearwater.
Due to a fortune opening in their construction schedule Brent was able to slot my project in almost immediately. Unfortunately, shortly into the teardown phase it was revealed that the ancient plumbing, among other things, had all but rusted through causing significant structural damage to the main floor support beams and rotting out most of the subfloor. Once again I was provided with a well-itemized quote for the additional repairs and the remodel proceeded without a hitch.
To help me track workflow, invoices and maintain general communication Jeff, one of the owners, got me set up with Buildertrend access for the remainder of the project. Over the course of the next several weeks, the Clearwater crew assigned to my project did an amazing job of providing me with photos and progress updates for every single phase of construction. Besides being able to see the level of quality that went into each step of the remodel via Buildertrend, I also received weekly phone updates from my grandpa talking about what outstanding workers and people Bryan, Andrew, and the rest of the crew were.
Now that the project is all wrapped up I’m absolutely certain I couldn’t have selected a better company for the job. From start to finish every person at Clearwater seemed to take a personal vested interest in my project and my grandfather’s wellbeing. The fit and finish of the final product were well above what I expected for the price-point and the customer service along the way was second to none.
