Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Good Day and Welcome!!!! I would like to start off by thanking you for taking an interest in my services. I would also like to apologize for the length of this, I understand we all live busy lives now a days and like to get things done as quick as we can. However, choosing the right personal training professional is extremely important. For starters this professional is someone whom you will be spending 3-5 hours of your life with a week. Having an understanding of who this professional is, their credentials, and where they come form is extremely important. I can’t stress that enough. After all, you’re looking to pay a premium price for a premium service and want to make sure you end up with the results you’re looking for. That’s the reason I’m here. To help you achieve the results you want in a realistic timely manner, while staying safe from injury. Did you know the average personal trainer gets certified via a book or a 1-2 day course? Frightening right? Having graduated from National Personal Training Institute (NPTI), a 6-month personal training school that also offers graduate classes to further ones education, I’m not the typical weekend certified trainer. Students who attend NPTI study anatomy, physiology, nutrition, biomechanics, and physical therapy in order to learn as well as understand how the human body works. Using skills such as the overload principle, FITTE principle, corrective exercises, bioenergetics, and STD’s to help my clients achieve the adoptions and results they desire. Not the circus tricks that have become all so regularly used to attract people and deliver minimal results. Don’t worry, STD’s stand for Stress, Tension, and Damage. Which is what is truly needed to overload the muscles properly using correct periodization, lifting proximal to distal, large to small, and multi jointed to single jointed. Bet I had you worried there for a second huh? About Me: I’m 33 years of age. I enjoy long walks on the beach while reading poetry and a glass of scotch! Just checking to see if you’re still with me. I am really 33 years old and have spent most of my adult life in the Marine Corps infantry. I was enlisted for a little over 11 years and spent a great deal of my time training the Marines under my charge in various different skill sets, which included their physical fitness. Being a Marine requires one to be able to push them self to the absolute limit of their physical capabilities in some of the harshest environments you can think of. Being a mentor and leader for these young Marines was some of the best times of my life and helped me to realize what it was I felt I was meant to do. To help people, teach people, and give them the motivation they need in order to make the best out of life. My career ended short due to blowing out my shoulder, which eventually required me to get 2 surgeries over the course of a few years. That along with the years or rehab and physical therapy would take a toll on anyone’s motivation. So believe me when I say I know what it means to feel beaten down and not have the motivation to get up to make a difference. But with the right guidance and support system ANYONE can! The years dealing with my injury along with the rehab is what made me come to realize that my calling to help people was meant to be in the field of physical fitness. This started the long path of knowledge seeking, for knowledge seeking is never ending! Along this path I have obtained my graduate diploma from NPTI, Certificate of Achievement from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Certified Personal Trainer certification from NASM, Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from NASM, Weight Loss Specialist certification from NASM, Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification from NASM, and I’m currently working towards my Performance Enhancement Specialist certification from NASM. Besides receiving my knowledge from school I also fallow some of the best names in the fitness industry. Bret Contreras, Dean Somerset, Dr. John Rusin, Dr. Spencer Nadolsky, Mike Israetel, Jim Stoppani, Kelly Starrett, and Chris Hitchko to name a few. This way I can stay up to date with the most current information and best methods to bring to my clients. My Promise: These are just some thing’s you can expect from me prior to your needs and expectations. I will always arrive prior to our scheduled appointments. Our appointments will not take longer then the scheduled time. I will always be honest and straightforward with you about everything ranging from pricing to my expectations of you. Your safety, wellness, and happiness with my services are of the most importance to me. You will be treated with the utmost respect and dignity at all times. All of your personal information will be kept confidential at all times. Your fitness program will be tailored to your specific goals. I will continue to keep up to date with the most current information and methods that pertain to the service or services you invest in. I will respect all the rules and regulations of the facilities you want me to come to. As well as always provide a clean work out area, water, towel, and restroom facilities, to include a shower if you so choose to come to my private patio studio. I will never push you through pain but instead work around it. Your feedback will always be welcomed and appreciated. I will not only guide you during your workouts, but also educate you to help you understand the meaning behind the madness. I’m sure there is many more expectation and promises I will be providing you or you yourself can come up with, but this is all I can think of right now. Expectations of Client: Again a few things I expect of my clients, which will be gone over in more detail during the free consultation. Honesty is a big one. Showing up on time ready to crush the work out. A 1-month endurance-training program is required before any real “heavy” lifting will happen. The reason behind this is due to your ligaments and tendons. They need to be strengthened before the more powerful heavy lifting in order to lessen the chance for injury. Injuries, diseases, and medication must be addressed prior to first workout session. Normally this will happen in the free consultation. Treating me with the same level of respect and dignity I treat you is expected. There is a required 48-hour notification of cancelation prior to the scheduled appointment in order to keep that scheduled training sessions credit. All payments must be on time and in full depending on the payment schedule agreed upon. Cancelation for a training package is done in monthly increments and must be submitted prior to the 15th of the month before. This means that if for some reason you are unhappy with your results or me as your personal trainer and it is not something we can work around or fix which makes you adamant on canceling the rest of your package it must be done by the 15th of the month in order to take effect for the up coming month. Again all of this will be covered in more detail with the contract during our first meeting. The gratification I get comes from the happiness of my clients. Watching the face of a client glow as they grow and smash past their goals is indescribable. Going from a stressed state of mind because they are unhappy aesthetically and feel like no matter what they do they are trapped. Being able to help change that to where a client is living healthier, happier, and less stressed is amazing. It brings a sense of achievement not just for me but also to me for my clients. I know personally what it feels like to be down in the dumpster. Being told by professionals and doctors that I'd never be able to do certain physical activities again. As well as the struggles of the long hard road to prove them wrong. Having the opportunity to play an important part in someone else's road to success is what I strive for.

Nick is an amazing trainer. He knows how to motivate you to achieve your goals and never lets you quit on yourself. His knowledge of human anatomy helps him inform you on what your exercises are making you achieve. Before training with Nick I only trained light, meaning cardio and lifting light, I never thought I would be able to hip trust 300 pounds or have the best physique of my life. He taught me: how to use energy pathways, for efficient workouts; how to safely lift heavier weights; how overloading your muscles will help muscles adapt and grow; how I need to lift a heavy set then go to a light weight to increase my strength. I was always scared that if I did workout heavy I would turn into a muscle head female, Nick taught me that I don't have to be scared of that occurring and I am able to lift heavy weights! I went from weight 120 pounds without tone to weighing 150 pounds with a 22% body fat!! I have never felt this good about my body! Nick really helped me focus on my goal of toning up my thighs and butt. Those two areas have never looked better on me. Also who wouldn't love a trainer that lets you eat what you want, just in moderation and if you put the work in!! His workouts are fun and easy to follow. He really just wants every client to achieve their goals!

Nicholas "Nick" Long is an outstanding trainer. When I first began training with Nick I weighed 130lbs. My goal was to gain weight, muscle and self confidence/high self esteem. Within 3 months I gained 22lbs and began to see the hard work paying off through a specific food regiment and lifting 6 days/ week. Nick is the most energetic and knowledgeable trainer I've met. Every bit of advise that he gave me has helped me archive my personal fitness goals. He taught me that being fit is a lifestyle and there isn't any wall that cannot be conquered with him by your side.
