- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We design exclusively on the Squarespace platform to keep costs down for our clients. All expenses are very transparent and all-inclusive. Design fees paid to us cover our time setting up, styling and taking care of back-end details for your site; hosting and platform costs are paid directly to Squarespace although we are happy to set that up for our clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will begin with an introductory phone call (or video call, if that is your style!) where we can learn more about the project goals and decide if we are a good fit to work together. The next step will be for us to send a detailed proposal based on the project scope discussed. Once approved by the client, we will send over a simple contract covering terms and a link for payment. At this point, we may ask for more information (copy or photos/graphics for your website, for example) or we jump on another call to hammer out any other details together. Our design team is always just a phone call or email away if you need to provide more info or ask questions!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team of 6 includes people with degrees in everything from communications to marketing and from business administration to entrepreneurship. Together, we have countless years of experience in the design, marketing, communication and business fields. Continuing education is a substantial value of our agency, and in 2017 we attended events all over the country to further our knowledge on everything from SEO to design trends to what's coming down the pipe next at Google. In short, we love our industry and are continually learning more!
