FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Roofing is a hard industry to pin down for pricing. Some companies will charge 10K more than we do, some 2-3K less (which won't even cover materials). Our position is usually in the middle if you collect several bids. We fall there with other quality roofing companies who have been in business for a long time. As a consumer, you want to work with a company who will still be in business, should an issue arise. Use the internet to check licenses and bonds and beware that roofing insurance is VERY specific. Many poor quality contractors insure as a "fencing" contractor, but wouldn't be covered if their installation of your roof created issues. Remember also, that it's about forming a relationship with your contractor. If they won't answer questions for you, move on.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Bids are typically sent within 48hrs max to our customers. We follow up immediately to see if you've received your bid, and then again to see if you have developed any questions. Replacing your roof isn't something you do often. We're happy to answer ANY questions you may have, until you feel like you understand and trust our company. After acceptance roofing installations vary in time due to weather and volume (obviously summer is longer than winter).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in business for 11 years now. We are family owned, and each employee we hire has over 5 years of roofing experience. We ALWAYS train in house on techniques that we value, and all of our roofing professionals are vetted to be sure they posses not only the quality work we demand, but the customer service we value as well.
