- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My initial 30 minute consultation is free to guarantee a successful match in taste and personality. My standard hourly rate is $250 for personal shopping and styling sessions, however I may be flexible with that rate given necessary circumstances. I am a charitable person and want to help everyone I can! I offer special rates for return clients and for long term services as well as group packages. I can work magic on any shopping budget, I aim to work with my clients to help them look great on any budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an initial 30 minute consultation, free of charge. This can take place in person or over Skype. During this 30 minutes I will ask a variety of questions to better understand my clients styling needs and clothing preferences. As a follow up to our initial consult I will schedule a current wardrobe edit during which my client will demonstrate several standard looks from business to leisure, so I may get a sense of their tastes and an idea of what direction to move to for the next phase, which is shopping. I am willing and able to take care of personal shopping in order to bring a variety of options to a clients home for them to try in a comfortable space, or my clients may join me for a shopping excursion with a predetermined goal in mind. After we shop I am available to style outfits with new pieces and prep my client to dress themselves with ease and style daily, no matter the occasion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a serious connoisseur of fashion since the late nineties, studying high end labels and avidly following trends. I have traveled to Paris and London during fashion weeks, acting as a buyer for high end boutiques and gauging collections seasons in advance. I have formal training in visual communication arts and textiles through my Bachelor's degree from Bradley University. I have worked as an apprentice and assistant to several tailors and clothing designers to hone my technical skills.
