- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is completely custom, so prices vary project to project. Once we discuss your needs and establish an understanding of your vision, we will send you a custom quote for your specific project. Typically, online design packages end up being 1/3 of the price of our traditional design services and range between $400-$1200.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We know this is a new concept, so let us explain… Step 1. We start by getting to know you and your space.This is by far the most important part! Who lives in your space? Are you solo, do you have a family, or maybe it’s just you and man’s best friend? What’s your style? Do you know? Maybe not? Let us help you find out. How do you live in your space? What do you already own and want to incorporate? And of course, what’s your budget? We Skype, talk over the phone and use our collaborative tools to make sure we go over all the details. Step 2. Getting the details: By following our step by step guide to taking measurements and by providing a few key pictures of the project space, we are able to get a full vision of what we will provide in your design package. This way we are sure that the end product is exactly what you have been dreaming of! Step 3. We work our magic After we are positive we have our vision nailed down, Kept starts working our magic. This process can take a few days, a week, or maybe a few weeks depending on the size of the project we are working on with you. Step 4. Design Package Handover When we are all done, we hand over a design package to you. It comes complete with everything needed to put your room together. Here’s what it includes: A shopping list with links to everything you need to purchase. Oh, did we mention it’s all online? All you do is click and buy? A style board which visually allows you to see all of your room’s elements working together. A floor Plan - This way you know exactly what goes where. Enjoy your new space! Once all of your items arrive and you put the room together following our instructions it’s time to take a step back and relish in your professionally designed space!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Chelsea, our founder, was trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. She has been working in the field for over seven years.
