Spoonful of Word catered my baby shower. It was everything I envisioned and more. Chef Crystal took the time to listen to all my wants. She was exceptionally patient as I am a stickler for detail. Chef Crystal and her staff were not only professional but punctual. The most important part was the food was amazing. Yes, the presentation was creative and eye catching,but the taste was spectacular. I could have not been more pleased with the outcome of my shower. Everyone who attended left with Chef Crystal's contact information because we were all blown away by her work. I'm normally not a review type of person, but it would be a crime not to acknowledge and compliment such talent. I will be using Spoonful of Word for all of my future catering needs.

Yes, we price our menus per person.

Each customer is different and I enjoy learning the expectations of my newest clients. After the initial discussion of the basics, a meeting is scheduled to go into further details about your event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a classically trained Chef, AA in Culinary Arts. I have worked for Hilton Hotels, Thompson Hospitality and currently I own and operate Spoonful of Word, LLC Catering and Concessions Company and I am a Chef Instructor at The International Culinary School of the Art Institute of Virginia Beach
