- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Price range for web design/ redesign services: $500 - $3500. Price range for SEO services: $499 - $4499/ month. Price range for Google Adwords management is 15% of monthly ad spend + a small setup fee. *These prices vary depending on level of competition in your local market, average value of each customer, and how fast you would like to rank for your main keywords. Remember - if you spend $10 on SEO & get $0 return, that's a pretty expensive rate. On the other hand, if you spend $10,000 on SEO and get a $120,000 return...very inexpensive. Rest assured, your return on investment is the ONLY way I justify my fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new client begins with 100% transparency, honesty, and integrity. On our initial call, we will take a deeper dive into your needs, goals, and expectations to determine if we are a fantastic fit for each other. My intention for this kickoff call will be to go over what we do, how we do it, educate you on the process of how it works, answer any questions, and if by the end of the meeting this is something you want to move forward with - awesome! And if not, that's totally cool too. Some questions that I like to ask, which you can prepare for, include: How did you get started in this business? How long have you been in business? What is your most profitable service and what service would you like to provide more of? What are your short term goals? (If you are as successful as you want to be 3-6 months from now, what does that look like?) What are your long term goals? (If you are as successful as you want to be 2-5 or more years from now, what does that look like?) What sets you apart from your competitors? What service areas are you looking to target? What marketing and/or advertising have you done in the past or are currently involved in? (Craigslist, Facebook, directories like HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, YellowPages, etc.) What is your current capacity to take work as it comes? What's the average value of a customer in your pocket? Out of 10 qualified leads calling you direct, how many can you close?
