Introduction: Not every coach has actually been trained to be one. Though I think I've always been a coach in some way, it was important to me to make sure that the service I offer goes beyond great advice and a listening ear. I learned from masterful coaches at the Coaches Training Institute, which is the largest and most prestigious in-persons coaches training program in the world. My experience there changed my life and my perspective on what it means to be a coach. My methods are based on the Co-Active Coaching Model and my job as a Co-Active Coach® is to ask powerful questions, listen beyond the surface of your words, and empower you in order to elicit the skills and creativity you already possess. I won't solve your problems for you because you are the only expert on you. I am a master at supporting you and guiding toward your own wisdom. We take the journey together as partners. The result is deeply resonate solutions that bring about positive change, not only in the areas that brought you to coaching, but in all aspects of your life. You'll find yourself moving forward with joy instead of force.
Coaching, for me, is about more than a job or a career. It is about doing the work I was called to do. I get to let go of judgement and assumptions and see the raw truth of people. It is always magnificent and holding up a mirror so that a person can see that magnificence in themselves, is humbling.
So many of us are fine, family is fine, work is fine, life is fine...but we are drowning in “fine”. It’s always inspiring to see people climb out from under the limitations they've set for themselves and lay their heads down at night with a renewed sense of purpose. What I offer, and what I have found so valuable in my coaching relationships, is a new lens to see the world though. It’s that new perspective that helps us find the solutions that stick. It’s where we find the beautiful parts of us that went missing somewhere along the complicated and treacherous road of adulthood.
