FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
LOGOS: Minimum rate of $150 starting from scratch, then $30/additional hr it would take to create. ILLUSTRATION: Very much depends on the style, complexity, and time it would take to create. It would start at a minimum of $100, and move on from there to $50/additional hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
DISCOVERY: I start off by making sure the client communicates to me their target audience. Once that is understood, I research competitors within the clients market and best practices so time and resources are used efficiently. PLANNING: I start to identify images/colors/graphic elements/typography from various online sources and compile them to create a mood board, to make sure the client is in agreement with the visuals and suggested direction. I then begin sketching out ideas (whether we are talking a logo, web pages, print layout etc.) as a means of quickly exploring different conceptual directions and present them for feedback. From there. the idea is refined and simplified into 3 different concepts. PROTOTYPING: After the sketching and planning, I begin the production of the desired deliverables digitally, and again request feedback along the way to maximize the customer's happiness with the development of the final product. PRODUCTION: Final files (compiled with proper and clean digital craft) are emailed and produced in a way that printers can easily use for whatever type of production is necessary.
