- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct an extensive consultation with new clients to determine what they want, prior services, prior problems, current concerns they have, etc. I love pictures so I always ask clients to provide a photo of the look they are going for, if possible. I explain the process that will take place in order to achieve what they are looking for. Based on my expertise and experience, I advise my clients on things they may want to consideration with a look or before a service. I make sure to address all of their questions before beginning.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Knowledgeable in both classic and contemporary hair styles, Valeska is known for her precision cutting of long, short, and curly hair, as well as skill with extensions, blowouts, and styling. An exceptional colorist she is often sought after for subtle and dramatic color changes, as well as, to repair hair color disasters. She takes pride in her dedication to high standards, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Valeska excels at special occasion hair and makeup, including weddings where she focuses on the client consultation in order to achieve the bride's goals. She also possesses extensive media and fashion experience, including television programs, fashion shows, photo shoots. She not only believes in continued education for herself but she also believes in keeping her clients educated and informed. Valeska places a high value on listening to her clients, understanding their needs and respecting their hair. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Swedish.
