Introduction: Growing up in a small town in Iowa, Jake was fortunate at a young age to be exposed to the values of helping others, hard work and what it meant to be trustworthy. Earlier in his education and career, he devolved a strong interest in politics. It fascinated him so much that he even traveled almost a 1,000 miles across the country to study political science. It was a great experience, especially learning more about why people believe what they believe, working side by side some of the most influential people in the nation, and even driving around with Presidential candidates. In the end, and after six non-stop action-packed years, he decided it wasn’t exactly fulfilling my needs to help people on a more personal level and to make a difference. That is how he got started in real estate here in the Des Moines area and he has never looked back since! He says it feels great helping people buy and sell homes, meeting their families, and knowing he played a role in one of the biggest decisions in their lives.
