Introduction: I am a freelance writer, and a philosophy major. To break this down, that means I spend my WHOLE. LIFE. WRITING. And guess what I'm doing now? I am spending the entire summer perfecting my novel to sell to a publisher by the end. So, I write. About countless topics. Sometimes I'm in the mood for some fantasy (novel,) other times I want to speak about public injustices (freelance) or argue with Aristotle (Philosophy.) The point is, I love to write. And I do it constantly.
Additionally, I tutor math and writing students at Salt Lake Community College. I run a YouTube channel that is dedicated to teaching how to write fiction. And I aid many of my clients in finding freelance jobs themselves. What do I want to do with my Philosophy degree? Why, teach of course. My service stands out because there is nothing I would rather be doing. And it shows with the success of my students, and the resume of writing pieces I've built up over the last few years.
Learning and teaching. As I mentioned before, I also love to write. Oh, and I was a Mathlete...for six years. I belong in education and my passion is the written word. I am incredibly fulfilled here. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. The journey with my students is incredible. There is no better feeling than being the person that offers confidence to someone who just hasn't tapped into their abilities yet, and seeing the success is absolutely heart-warming. So is the overwhelming feeling of being accepted as a writer for this article or that ghost-written short story. I get to read, write, math, and help every day. What isn't there to love?
