FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the majority of work I quote 1 competitive all inclusive price for the scope of the project. This eliminates surprises for the client, and guarantees quality and timeliness of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
On initial client contact it is critical for me to understand the full scope of the project, time frame and expectations. For product photography relevant questions would be how many items, what kind of items are they (anything reflective, jewelry, paintings, fashion) what is your time frame and would you need a transparent background. Architectural photography is about mood as well as perfection. Coordinating the perfect time of day for the shoot depending on location, and understanding the clients advertising needs is critical to mitigate the bad situations like harsh direct sunlight, deep unflattering shadows, dark rooms, and wasted time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my work in photography and digital design 10 years ago when I joined a high-end architecture firm in Monterey California. It was there I started my photographic career capturing Architecture, and the beautiful local landscapes. I was later offered a position as Director of Photography in an upscale Art Gallery and Auction house on Worth Ave in Palm Beach Florida. Now after 5 years and over 10,000 hours of catalog and online photography shot I am offering my expertise to help you realize the greatest potential of your product or real-estate.
