Matt was prompt, courteous and did a great job on our back porch renovation.Feb 3, 2016Verified
Allcon Builders was an enormous help in the remodel of our home. Matt was very easy to work with and allowed us the flexibility we needed to complete the project. He worked extremely hard to finish our project on time especially given the tight timeframe we were working with.Apr 4, 2018
I hired Matt as my general contractor on a total remodel of our 3700 square foot home. Matt was great to work with across the board. He was very reliable regarding schedule and completing the work within his estimate. I would hire Matt again and highly recommend him.Apr 3, 2018
Allcon / Matt did an addition and remodel at our house. He and his crew were great to work with, always cleaned up at the end of the day. Quality was great, and Matt communicates very well through out every aspect of theproject. We would recommend Matt to anyone looking for a good general contractor.Feb 20, 2017

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I enjoy meeting face to face with a new customer to discuss the scope, logistics, and sequencing of a project. Once we are on the same page as to what the end product is, I will look for value engineered items, in an effort to reduce cost, but maintain scope and quality. Lastly, we discuss schedule, and any possible change orders for additional and unforeseen work, if necessary. My goal is to have a realistic budget from the beginning. If there are any potential change orders, I will identify and provide a rough order of magnitude cost, so there are no surprises.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?At the age of 18, I worked for a General Contractor that focused on concrete driveways, stamped overlays, and wood flooring installs, as well as residential additions / renovations. In my junior year of college, while getting a degree in Construction Management, I began working for larger commercial contractor. In the past few years I have realized I enjoy smaller projects. I am USGBC LEED Accredited, I have OSHA 30 certification, a Class B Building Contractors License, and multiple Project Management courses through the Association of General Contractors.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I've always loved building stuff. Out of high school I started working for an acquaintances father, who was a General Contractor and I never looked back!
