Matt did a great job for us on a couple of repairs including reinstalling hinges and re-mounting of a rather large oven hood cover panel. We also had a garage door that was barely hanging on its hinges, preventing the door from closing. He was able to reinforce the hinges and the door now closes better than it ever has. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My hourly rate is $100.00 for the first hour, each additional hour is $75.00 per hour. My daily rate is $600.00 for 8 to 9 hours of work. All expenses are passed on to the customer without a markup. One free trip for supplies is included, I charge $25.00 for each additional trip for supplies while off the clock.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started my work experience in the printing industry, which I did for 16 years. For 12 of those years, I was a Project Manager responsible for all aspects of customers' projects. Like everyone else, I needed to make more money so I started looking for a second job. That is when I made the decision to start my own business remodeling homes in order to use the skills and trades I learned growing up.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have experience working with investors, homeowners, renters, and contractors. My background in customer service allows me to work with anyone in a professional manner.
