Sparklean did come mow my yard at the agreed upon rate, however, we did have some issues. I had originally asked for my backyard, (which was very overgrown and stated in my original post) , to be mowed and then I added other tasks such as my front yard and tree trimming. I was initially very excited to have found a service that would come out and fix my yard so quickly and for such a low rate. However, on the day of service, they were over an hour late after the agreed upon time (5:30). The first time that I asked if they were on their way, they said that I had never given them my address, however it was in my initial inquiries and nobody ever called. When they did arrive, the sun was going down and they were going to have to come back to finish the work as they had only gotten the front yard mowed. They said that they would be back the next morning around 9-10 am, which would have been fine, only nobody showed up until late that afternoon and not until much prompting from us. I am convinced that nobody would have even come back to finish the job had we not kept texting about it. They did not bag the grass either, which we did not discuss or ask for, however I feel like if we are paying for a lawn service then that should have just been common sense. Eventually both the front and the back yards were mowed and at the quoted price. I was just unhappy with how unprofessionally it was all handled.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
when a customer contacts me i like to find out the basic needs. of the customer and size property then i give them an intdoductory service qoute. i like to have the customer present at arrival if possible to do a complete walk through to make sure need are all met . if they can not be present i email them a walk through form so they can address all needs. after the first clean if they decide to become recurring i give them a discounted price for the frequency of services preformed .i accept cash or credit / debit cards as payments. and then i ask if they were referred so i can contact them to give them thanks they deserve .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked at Petra we did a lot of commercial cleaning for 3 years and worked on the side with my mother doing side jobs in residential for afound 4 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A few years ago i would tag along with my mom to clean offices and homes to make extra money, but with in a couple months we started doing a job a night. I enjoyed having the extra money and meeting people and relieving some stress. So when i met melanie and we were both needing extra money we decided to start cleaning commercial a residentials together and open sparklean!
